Manage Personal Data

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete the personal data Teta holds about you. This page explains what we collect, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights.

Account details
Name, email address, encrypted password
Wallet & transactions
Cashback history, withdrawal records, bank account (last 4 digits)
Open Banking data
Read-only transaction data used for cashback detection (if connected)
Offer clicks & tracking
Affiliate click records used to attribute cashback to purchases
Device & usage data
Device type, OS version, app version, anonymised analytics
Waitlist data
Email address submitted via the early access waitlist form

Access your data
Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. We'll provide this in a commonly used format within 30 days.

Correct inaccurate data
Ask us to update or correct any personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.

Delete your data
Request erasure of your personal data. Some data may be retained where legally required (e.g. financial records for up to 6 years). Deleting your data will also close your account.

Export your data
Request a machine-readable export of your personal data so you can transfer it to another service.

Restrict or object to processing
Ask us to pause how we use your data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.

Withdraw consent
Where we rely on consent (e.g. marketing emails, non-essential cookies, Open Banking access), you can withdraw it at any time. This won't affect past processing.

Email us from the address registered to your Teta account. We'll verify your identity and respond within 30 days. Select the type of request below — it will pre-fill your email.

Open Banking transaction data Retained until you revoke access or close your account
Waitlist email addresses Until app launch or until you unsubscribe
Analytics data Anonymised — retained indefinitely
Data after account deletion Deleted within 30 days, except where legally required
